Ballina Byron Marine Adventures is a family-owned marine tourism operator departing the Ballina RSL Floating Pontoon, Ballina RSL Floating Pontoon, River Street, Ballina NSW 2478, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Enquiries: when you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one) and the content of your message.

Bookings: reservations are taken through our booking provider, Rezdy. Your booking, passenger and payment details are collected and stored by Rezdy under their own privacy policy. We receive the booking details we need to run your voyage — we never see or store your full card number.

Site usage: standard technical information such as pages viewed and approximate location, used only to understand how the site is performing.

To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, send a confirmation of your message.

To run your booked voyage safely — including passenger numbers, accessibility needs and contacting you if conditions change.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your consent. Any email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Our reviews section displays public reviews from our Google Business Profile via the Google Places API. Reviewer names and photos come from Google and are shown as they are published there. We do not collect or store anything about you when you read them.

Only the service providers we need to operate: our booking platform (Rezdy), our email delivery provider, and our website hosting and database provider. Each handles data on our behalf under their own security obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary for the safety of people at sea.

Enquiries are retained while we're in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Booking and passenger records are kept for as long as required for safety, insurance and tax obligations.
